New Audio and Music Online Consulting Service

Hi, I'm Alessandro Fois, and today I want to tell you about an initiative I created for those who want to improve their skills in audio and music: personalised consultations.

In the world of audio and music, learning is an ongoing journey. From young aspiring sound engineers to amateur and semi-professional musicians, the need to improve one's skills is now more acute than ever. Effective and flexible teaching resources can make all the difference, especially in an industry that is constantly evolving technologically and stylistically.

I have introduced a new teaching service that stands out for its practicality and flexibility: personalised technical consultations, available via video conference or email. This formula is aimed at a heterogeneous audience, from amateurs to level amateurs and semi-professionals, offering a practical and direct way to deepen knowledge and resolve specific doubts.

A solution for every need

The service is characterised by the breadth of topics covered, ranging from audio to music.

For audio enthusiasts

The consultations address topics such as:

  • Acoustics and sound design;
  • Recording techniques;
  • Editing, mixing and mastering;
  • Audio post-production for video.

For musicians and composers

Topics include:

  • Melodic and harmonic composition;
  • Arrangement and orchestration techniques;
  • Rhythm and execution style;
  • Insights into modern piano techniques.

What makes this initiative interesting is the possibility of choosing between two modes of use, thus adapting to different learning needs.

Videoconferencing consultations

This option offers a direct and interactive experience: a time when specific questions can be asked in real time and answered in detail. Each session is designed to optimise time, with the option to explore related topics in depth and to ask free questions if time is left over. Video conferences can be adapted to specific needs thanks to flexible durations and interaction that guarantees targeted and personalised support. See >

Consultations by email

For those who prefer to think calmly about their questions and receive structured answers, this mode is an ideal choice. After purchase, it is possible to send a list of technical questions, to which I respond with in-depth, personalised explanations that are also useful for future study. This option is particularly suitable for those seeking detailed advice that is always available for later consultation. See >

Why choose these consultancies?

We do not wish to diminish the value of traditional courses, which remain essential for structured training. However, these consultations are a complementary tool, ideal for those who need to resolve specific doubts quickly and cost-effectively. They offer:

  • Total flexibilitychoice of times, modes and topics adapted to the user's needs;
  • Immediate and targeted feedbackdirect answers without dispersion;
  • Theoretical and practical insightstargeted clarifications and suggestions to address specific issues.

In a context where the scarcity of practical training resources is often lamented, these consultations represent a concrete and targeted response.

Towards new online courses

We are evaluating the possibility of developing online courses, designed to complement these consultations with an even more comprehensive and structured educational offer. The aim is to create accessible and in-depth training courses that can systematically cover the topics covered during the consultations. The courses could include specific modules for audio and music, with interactive materials and virtual practice sessions, offering a perfect alternative or supplement for those seeking broader and more flexible learning.

The teacher

I am the lecturer who will personally follow each consultation, bringing my many years of experience in the field of audio and music. With the support of the Lycnos Staff team, I offer a practical and accessible teaching approach, designed to clearly address the needs of students, enthusiasts and semi-professionals.

An opportunity not to be missed

The introduction of these consultations offers a practical solution for those wishing to deepen their skills or resolve specific doubts. Whether it is to perfect a recording, improve an arrangement or better understand a mixing technique, this formula is designed to offer immediate and quality answers.

In the panorama of music and audiophonic training, this initiative represents a step towards more accessible and personalised learning, with promising premises to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding audience.
