BIOGRAPHY

He was born in Ozieri where he began playing drums as a self-taught at the age of about 11. After a few years he moved to Cagliari and began collaborating with a band (Gruppo 2001) with which he recorded his first records; then the experience in Bologna for four years with various dance formations, followed by a move to Rome where his real professional career began with an engagement at RAI 1 in the orchestra of DOMENICA IN directed by Maestro Pippo Caruso. This was a sort of 'pass par tout' for the continuation of his career.

With the 'Jubilee 2000' orchestra:

in Mondo Visione at Tor Vergata (Campus of the University of Rome) with 2,500,000 spectators.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

He has taught and still teaches in various contexts:

Timba Schoolsthe historic Latin drumming school in the Roman capital
Percentage Musicone of the most accredited professional schools in Rome. 

Organiser in 10 Italian cities  of the Master Class of Gary Chaffee, one of the world's leading references in drum teaching (Berklee College of Music Boston) and with Peter Erskine (Weather Report).

PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES

He was the creator and producer of the festival Musica per i Borghi, for 10 years from 2003 to 2013 with the  artistic direction by Maestro Vessicchio
